Steps
Before repairing a crack, you need to assess the real nature of the problem first. To prevent serious problems later on, it is best to treat small cracks right away upon discovery. With this, you can also avoid water leakage. Excessively deep cracks usually have a diameter measuring more than a quarter of an inch. In terms of length, this kind of crack usually measures several feet long. It is good to seek the advice of professionals first before working on this.
If the crack is just small, get a screwdriver and then use it to chip away the excess concrete in the surrounding areas. This can help you penetrate the gap even more.
